There are a bunch of guys that should be coming out of the lineup for Colborne imho. |
|
|
|
Yeah Colborne has been misused thus far, he should be on the 2nd line with Dutch and somebody else. I'd scratch Iggy, Comeau, Mitchell or Mcleod before him. |

I agree and disagree at the same time. McLeod should be coming out but he only is playing 3-4 minutes a night. Colborne only playing those minutes isnt going to help him find his game. Like the Zads scratch, I believe its just a way for Bednar to send a message, teach instead of punish. |

It's bad coaching to try and teach a lesson to a guy that you've relegated to the 4th line and barely play. He's far from the problem and has played well when given a chance on higher lines. He's just not given enough of an extended chance on those line to be able to score consistently. |

I would never describe Bednar as a bad coach. Colborne hasn't played well enough to be in the Top 9...not bad, but hes there to be get those gritty goals, and so far Rene Bourque is taking that role. As well as Greer and Martinsen smashing around and mixing it in the corner.
Colborne will find his way eventually, can't fault Bednar for his roster decisions currently |

Im not saying he's a bad coach all around, but Mike Yeo used to pull that crap with Zucker and he basically turned the kid from a potential 30 goal scorer to a 4th line grinder. If a coach wants to make a statement it's sitting a guy like Klingberg or Ghost like just happened, not a Colborne, imho. |

I dont think you have been watching colborne that much, he might of had a mediocre game against the wild, but overall this eason he has been invisible , this isnt something to get worked up about in Avs land
Colborne is a top 9 player, hasn't been playing like one and lost his spot to Martinsen Greer and Bourque so far this season.
He will get his shot again |

Ok at this point we can assume whoever plays the Avs next won't have to do much to score the first goal against us because we will gladly do it for them |

OH WERE COMING FOR THAT ASS!!! |

McDavid shoots the puck down the ice and it hits all 5 Avs and goes in...right past Cam Talbot. |

Hard to formally meet someone when they are constantly trying to catch him. |
